Icons & Visions

Artists across time have created icons in their work through visions. Their visions result in objects or images that have a special meaning attached to it. These icons can symbolize many things including venerable images. In this collection, the artists seek to communicate their vision of this world, and perhaps others. The work reflects notions of culture, or place, as well as concepts of open questions, contemplated, to arrive at visual statements.

In Icons and Visions, the artists believe that by challenging our perceptions, new truths begin to emerge allowing ourselves to reflect on the past without prejudice, contemplate the present without bias, and perhaps project the future with greater optimism.
