Nopalito’s Galeria presents Robert Kaiser’s exhibit entitled “Sagrado: A Photopoetics Across the Chicano/A Homeland”. This exhibit offers an intimate view into the world of Chicano culture and is a body of work to be published in the book project developed by New Mexico Poet Laureate Levi Romero and Spencer Herrera, NMSU professor of languages and linguistics. This body of work started in 2008, when Mr. Kaiser completed a four mile pilgrimage up the Tortuga Mountain with the Corporacion de Los Indignes de Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe.
Mr Kaiser is considered a photojournalist with 28 years of award wining work. Kaiser completed his Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah.
